Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Conexión Américas’ INDIVISIBLE campaign.

Here are some opportunities you can get involved with:

• Sign up to be a part of Conexión Américas’ INDIVISIBLE campaign. Currently we seek volunteers to canvas local businesses in an effort to create and maintain a welcoming community here in Nashville. Volunteers will visit their favorite stores, barbershops, local grocery stores, book clubs, local pubs, and sports leagues to display the INDIVISIBLE sticker and propose the business or organization adopt or reaffirm their non-discrimination policy. • Volunteer to help us with our Valentine open house on February 10th. We’ll have our Raise Your Voice postcard writing station, our Raise Your Heart photo booth and we’ll be selling chocolates and other sweets made by our immigrant entrepreneurs. Guests will have the opportunity to buy a box of chocolates to donate to the Islamic Center. Email JC to sign up.

• Attend the Conexión Next inaugural mixer. Conexión Next is Nashville’s newest emerging leader network that dedicates its work to promote the vision and mission of Conexión Américas. Members, young professionals and students, will have the opportunity to engage in the mission of Conexión Américas, support special projects, advocate for the cause and expand their professional network.

• Host an Escalera high school student at your business. The Escalera program promotes economic mobility for immigrant and refugee youth by increasing educational attainment, career planning, and access to information about professional careers. As part of their participation in the Escalera program, high school students complete an 80-hour summer internship. Please consider hosting an immigrant high school student.
