Next year, Conexión Américas will turn 15. (I know! Can you believe that?) As we get ready to become a quinceañera, we have been reflecting about what we have become, about our strengths, about the opportunities and challenges facing our community, and about what Nashville –and Tennessee– need from us moving forward. Our board of directors and staff team are excited to share with you the new mission statement that will guide us into the next 15 years. It gives us a clear command about the kind of future we are striving to build for and with Latino families. It also claims our evolving and expanding role in Nashville and in the state as a leading voice promoting a welcoming, inclusive community.
