Artist + Community

“I make art because it feels great, not just emotionally and spiritually, but also viscerally.”

Conexión Americas is happy to have Pamela Cisneros’s vivid and bold paintings hanging in the hallways of Casa Azafrán this September. Pamela is a self-taught artist who works primarily in acrylic media. She is inspired by the natural world, especially places like India and Bali. Her work is intuitive, which allows her creativity to reveal itself through the paint. She is currently based in Nashville, TN.

More information about the artist and her work can be found at: http://pamelacisneros.com/

We are also proud to present a year’s work of community artwork through Conexión Américas. Pieces created in partnership with The Frist, “Talavera” paintings done by our Wright Middle School NAZA kids and “Balcones” with Parents as Partners in collaboration with Jairo Prado. This exhibition represents a community’s creativity and artistic spirit.

Please join us Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Casa Azafrán Community Center for some refreshments, good conversations, and beautiful art.
