Students at the Casa Azafrán pre-K are looking forward to some sunshine and outside play! We have raised about half of the funds we need to complete the public park next to Casa Azafrán. Below is a sneak peek at the plans for the park- to include a play area, a splash pad, amphitheater and more!

Temo and his two sisters (pictured below) are excited about the future park next to Casa Azafrán. Temo was one of 80 children in the inaugural class of Metro Nashville Public Schools’ Casa Azafrán Early Learning Center (2014-2015).  He and his classmates often asked “Where’s the playground?”—a question echoed by the thousands of visitors and neighbors we host every year, many of whom are families with young children.

Will you help us turn this old car lot into a park for Temo and his sisters?

After all, they are still regular visitors at Casa Azafrán. Their mom, Olivia, attends Conexión Américas’ English classes every week and is training to become a parent leader in our school family engagement program.

In June, we partnered with Metro Government to purchase the land and your $100, $250 or $500 tax-deductible donation will help transform this old car lot into an urban park and neighborhood asset. If you prefer to write a check, you can send it to us at 2195 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211.

Thank you for your continued support and for considering a year-end contribution for the future park next to Casa Azafrán!

Gracias and happy new year!
