You Can “Own” a Piece of Public Art

We have launched an cool new campaign via Indiegogo to raise money for, and awareness of, “Migration” the landmark facade we’re building for the Casa Azafrán Community Center.

We need your help to make this goal of raising $25,000 a reality.

You can be a part of history  — and celebrate Nashville’s culture and creativity — by donating to the construction of “Migration,” a striking 30- by 12-foot mosaic mural.

Just $10 Makes a Difference

Your gift of just $10 (more if you can!) buys you “ownership” of one of the 7,000 colorful pieces of tile used in the construction of this one-of-a-kind work of public art, which is being put together piece-by-piece by artist Jairo Prado and Middle Tennessee volunteers of all ages.

Once completed, “Migration” will proudly stand at the entrance of the  29,000-square-foot center at 2195 Nolensville Pike and future home to six nonprofit agencies that offer services in areas of health, education, legal, business and the arts.

You can read about the center in a recent story in the Nashville Scene, and on our webpage.
