Create a Nashville Landmark

You can help create the 30-foot by 12-foot mosaic mural that will grace the facade of the Casa Azafrán Community Center.

“Migration,” as the colorful piece is called, has been designed by, and commissioned to, Nashville artist Jairo Prado, well-known for his beautiful murals.

In keeping with the community spirit of Casa Azafrán, the mosaic mural is being built during a series of open studio sessions throughout the summer at Prado’s studio. Conexión Américas and Jairo Prado are inviting all Nashvillians, of all skill levels, to create “Migration,” one colorful piece at a time and lend their spirit and talents to this landmark piece of public art.

No experience is necessary.

To work, children must be over the age of 8 and all children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

Daytime, weekend and evening hours are available to accommodate all schedules.

Ask about scheduling a special time to work with your friends, church group or volunteer organization.

To sign-up fill out this form and for more information, contact Prado Studio.
