Please join us Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at 7p.m. at the Historic Cannery Ballroom as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Featuring live Latin beats with Lalo Davila & Friends with the San Rafael Band. Enjoy the mouthwatering cuisine of Chef Karla Ruiz and much more! 21+ event.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, observed nationwide from September 15th to October 15th, Conexión Américas and our sponsors celebrate the presence, contributions and rich cultural heritage of Latinos in the United States and in Tennessee.

The featured art in the invitation is a yarn painting, “Fantasy in Flight,” led by artist Jairo Prado, and is based on an artistic tradition of the Huichol Indians, the Aztec descendents of Jalisco and Nayarit, Mexico. The yarn painting was designed and completed by the rising seniors in the Conexión Américas program Escalera: Taking Steps to Success at Glencliff High School during the summer of 2014.
