• You must meet the residency requirements of their state.
• You must be 18 years old or will be 18 years old on election day.
• For a felony conviction, your voting eligibility depends on the crime and conviction date.

August 6 - State and Federal Primary Election and Davidson County General Election
Primaries for Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Tennessee Senate (odd-numbered districts), Tennessee House, and State Executive Committees. General elections will be held for nominees from the May primary and independent candidates.
Voter registration deadline: July 7
Early voting: July 17 - August 1
