Conexión Américas has opened a new commercial kitchen, Mesa Komal, which is available to entrepreneurs who own, or want to start, their own food business.

The Mesa Komal kitchen can be rented in 4-hour blocks and if needed, monthly storage space is available. For additional opportunities, the kitchen is connected to a large event space in the Casa Azafrán Community Center; perfect for business meetings, small weddings or culinary events with on-site food service! A new website has been developed to provide entrepreneurs with the resources they need to succeed. Stay tuned, Mesa Komal will open soon!

What does Mesa Komal provide?

Inside the fully licensed kitchen, you will find:

  • 2 commercial ranges (each with 4 burners, 1 griddle and 2 ovens)
  • 2 convection ovens
  • 1 deep fryer
  • 1 char broiler grill
  • 1 30-qt commercial mixer
  • 1 proofing box/warming box
  • 1 ice maker
  • 1 shared reach-in cooler (others available for rent)
  • 1 shared reach-in freezer (others available for rent)
  • 4 stainless steel prep tables
  • Large prep sink and 3-compartment dish sink
  • Commercial dishwasher
  • Pots, pans, bowls and more!

The space has exterior access for easy loading, 3 storage lockers available for cold and dry storage rental and on-site trash and recycling.

Deposit: one-time fee, paid up-front [ $250 ] Half-day Shift /4 hours  [ $100 ] Full-day Shift /8 hours  [ $180 ]
