Nurturing Leaders

One of Conexión Américas’ guiding values is the belief that to achieve true social change, people affected by a problem or situation should be at the center of any efforts aimed at designing solutions.

In 2003, we established the Hispanic Council to nurture grassroots leaders among the low- and moderate-income Latino immigrants in Middle Tennessee served by our organization.

Today, the Hispanic Council is comprised of dedicated individuals who have sustained their volunteer commitment for several years; many of them are founding members who have given their time and talents since the council was founded.

Each Hispanic Council member represents the same immigrant story of every family that turns to Conexión Américas for support to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
