Our annual Hispanic Heritage Month Awards Ceremony will be held at Casa Azafrán, on Thursday, September 15, 2022  from 6pm – 8pm. We are so excited that in addition to honoring our young essay contest winners, Orgullo Hispano and Amigx We Love Award winners, this year we will also inaugurate the ‘We All Belong’ mural created with artist Ruben Torres. Conexión Américas’ mission is building a welcoming community where Latino families can belong, contribute and succeed. Because of that, in honor of this 20 year milestone, the mural will represent the concept “We all belong.” We hope you can join us for the official mural unveiling and award ceremony! Because Todos Pertenecemos!

The Hispanic Heritage Award Ceremony is an opportunity to recognize high school student essay contest winners and community leaders through The Orgullo Hispano (Hispanic Pride), Amigx We Love awards and the Young Latino Writers’ Essay and Multimedia Contest.

RSVP to attend this free community event, and keep an eye on that page for more details. The event starts at 6 p.m. and will be streamed from Casa Azafrán
