Position Overview
HR Manager plays a critical strategic and operational role in driving our company’s financial growth
and maintaining efficient office operations. Reporting directly to the CFO. This role oversees human
resources functions and supports organizational compliance.

Activities
Establish and administer HR processes, policies, and programs for the facility.
Develop workforce plans to support plant start-up, growth, and ongoing operations.
Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and talent pipeline development for hourly, skilled
trades, supervisory, and salaried positions.
Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations, attendance, performance.
Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate
corrective action.
Promote consistent and fair application of company policies.
Partner with Corporate Human Resources on compensation, benefits, payroll, IRA and other
HR programs.
Assist with payroll prep (verifying hours, deductions, PTO, etc.)
Maintain confidential HR files, employee records, required documentation and ensure
compliance with TN and federal labor laws and company policies.
Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership to support workplace safety,
workers’ compensation, incident reporting, and return-to-work processes.
Maintain confidentiality of employees, compensation, and business information.
Track certifications, training deadlines, and HR documentation for ISO compliance.
Supervise HR staff, as applicable, including assigning work, providing coaching, conducting
evaluations, and supporting hiring decisions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Provide support in audits.
Support in accounting activities as needed.
Qualifications
Eight (8) or more years’ experience in Human Resources required
Five (5) or more years of HR leadership experience, preferably as an HR Manager, HR
Supervisor, or other site-level HR leadership role required
HR experience in small business environment preferred.
Experience supporting plant start-up, expansion, or growth preferred.
Excellent knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, performance management,
training, compensation, benefits, HR compliance, and HRIS administration.
Demonstrated ability to coach leaders, resolve sensitive issues, and build trust at all levels.
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
Paychex preferred, strong Excel skills and Microsoft office experience in accounting
systems are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly
preferred.
