We seek donations of toys children can use during Play Therapy — or items that allow them to safely act out and express what they are feeling or dealing with.
Please help by donating new or very gently used toys in the following categories:
Real-life and nurturing toys
Doll family, doll house, baby bottle, variety of puppets, animal families, cars, money, toy money, cash register, kitchen food, medical kit, phone, etc.
Acting-out, aggressive, scary toys
Bop bag, toy soldiers, guns (colored plastic ones – not real looking!), scary/aggressive puppets and animals (alligator, shark, etc), rubber knife, foam sword, handcuffs, etc.
Creative expression and emotional release
Craft materials, clay, musical instruments, magic wand, dress-up clothes, etc.
Additional supplies
We need arts & craft supplies & play clay for children whose parents attend our ESL language classes.
Drop-off details
Our office is located at Casa Azafrán, 2195 Nolensville Pike, between the Fairgrounds and I-440.
You can drop-off donations during the following business hours:
- Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
